Many enterprises need to run an ever increasing number of Windows applications in their data centres, using a limited amount of floor space and a limited number of staff; built on many years' experience of providing solutions for the data centre, ICL has now brought its patented policy scheduler technology to the Windows environment to help them achieve this. This session discusses consolidation issues, looks at how Windows scheduling works, then describes how the ICL Policy Scheduler works in that context. It then goes on to describe some situations where the scheduler can be applied.
