Myfanwy Edwards, Enterprise Storage Marketing Manager, ICL
The traditional storage hierarchy has become more complex, with more devices, new types of device and new technologies. The requirement to consolidate storage and to access that storage from multiple hosts adds to that complexity. As more and more data is distributed across the enterprise the trend now is to move to consolidate storage and to move towards a storage-centric architecture. This presentation looks at the requirements of today's large enterprises in terms of choosing and using storage media and software, current trends within storage and what ICL is doing to address these requirements in terms of solutions. It will look at future requirements, in terms of Storage Area Networking and will include details of how ICL is already capable of delivering these solutions now
Handouts will be made available
