Improved Productivity through Client-Server on VME

In this session, John Reeve will launch VME Express, a client/server offload development environment for OPEN VME . VME Express provides full functionality for developing, testing and executing Cobol programs whether for client or host or in a distributed environment. This pc based approach frees up the mainframe, increases productivity and allows all the advantages of a the features and facilities associated with a windows based environment. These include a Cobol Compiler, Animator, Editing Debugging and Communications facilities, GUI's, graphical data tools and web enablement using embedded HTML.

The session will will involve a brief introduction followed by a live demonstration.
