Year 2000 Contingency Planning

Paul Goodlad   Regional Programme Manager, Action 2000

With less than three months to the end of the century, over a quarter of UK employers are putting their businesses and employee's jobs at risk by adopting a shortsighted approach to the problem. The session will identify business-critical issues and discuss the steps that can still be taken to minimise risk and disruption. It will focus on contingency / business continuity planning, which is still an area of weakness amongst many businesses. The Bug is not an IT issue, it is a business issue and needs a comprehensive and practical approach in order to maximise cashflow &endash; the lifeblood of all businesses.
