Gresham Computing Group (http://www.gresh.com) have sent the following to AXiS:
We have completed inspection of all our software products and have found that all our VME products except TPS were already Year 2000 compliant (based on the BSI definition). Over the next few months we will be testing all our products on systems with dates around the change of century and on critical dates beyond that, e.g. 29/2/2000, in order to gain additional confidence of their compliance.
For TPS, we have produced an enhancement in the form of a REP plus a new module that changes it to use the standard VME date conversion routines. This will allow it to use ICL's century inferencing facilities and will make it Year 2000 compliant. We have tested this solution for non-regression but do not currently have a system on which we can test that it functions correctly when century inferrencing is switched on. We would therefore welcome assistance from a TPS customer to help us complete our testing. We are however confident that it will work correctly as it uses ICL's facilities!
